Prior to establishing the firm, he had served for 34 years as the Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs, Government of Pakistan. He had been involved with management of the firm’s domestic and foreign patent practice from application development and filing through issuance. He was among the three Patent, Trade Mark and Copyright experts in Pakistan to receive training from the Patent Office, Australia. He had also worked as senior research fellow sponsored by (WIPO) Geneva, at the Commonwealth Office, Canberra Australia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Mechanical engineering, from Aligarh University British India and his Bachelor of Laws from S.M. Law College Pakistan.

Ms. Abbasi is a senior partner in the firm and has a wide 37 years of working experience as a controller of Patents and Registrar of Designs in the Patent Office of Pakistan. Her practice spans a wide variety of Intellectual Property areas including Patents and Industrial Designs. She is a widely traveled professional who has attended training sessions in U.K, Japan, China, USA, Geneva, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Iran, Thailand, Canada and Australia. As a Veteran IPR Practitioner, She has presented well-received papers at seminars in Pakistan and abroad, besides acting as a highly respected and sought-after authority on Intellectual Property Rights, in Pakistan and in the Region. Further, she received her master degree in Science and Bachelor of Laws at Karachi University of Pakistan. Ms. Abbasi completed her undergraduate studies in a Women Degree college and acquired her Bachelor of Science Degree.
2. Kazim Raza Abbasi

Mr. Abbasi is a partner in the firm and practices primarily in the firm’s litigation department. He has extensive experience in Intellectual Property, representing and counseling a wide range of domestic as well as international high profile clients in Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Trade secrets and other related matters. The litigation expertise of Mr. Abbasi includes obtaining and defending Injunctions, Internet Disputes, Trademark misuse and Ex Parte Seizures of Counterfeit Products. He has been appearing and arguing matters related to defined sectors in Hon’ble High Courts of Pakistan. Moreover, he has a vast experience before Trademark registry, Patent Office and Copyright Registry together with successful litigation and resolved dozens of oppositions and cancellation disputes. In terms of qualifications, he has acquired his Master degree in Computer Science, Bachelor in Computer Science at Hamdard University of Information Technology, Karachi Pakistan and achieved Bachelor of Laws at Karachi University of Pakistan.

4. Muhammad Asad

He joined the firm in 2012. He has a vast experience in the field of Trade Marks, Designs and Copyrights. He primarily handles our clients’ pre and post registrations matters. He also manages clients’ Trademarks, Designs and Copyrights portfolios and assists them as per their requirements. He has a vast experience in the field of domain dispute resolution (DNDRC) and has successfully resolved many disputes of valuable clients’. He received his Master degree in Finance and Risk Management from the Institution of Business Management (IoBM) and Bachelor degree from Iqra University in Finance and Bachelor degree of Laws from S.M. Law College Pakistan.
5. Syed Mahad Ali

He joined the firm in 2021 and is involved in opposition and court related matters. He has successfully worked with major pharmaceuticals, nutraceutical and cosmetics clients as well as helped them protect their intellectual property rights. He looks into the matters pertaining to the High Court, the intellectual property tribunal and the trade mark registry. He received his bachelor’s degree in Law at Hamdard University after acquiring his A-Levels privately.

Managing regulatory and compliance-related services, as well as providing Clients with Innovative Solutions and Legal Representation in Court Proceedings. Manages and Supervises Paralegals and Legal Assistants, as well as Writing Pleadings and Notices and other legal documents. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB 5 YEARS) from Hamdard University, Hamdard School of Law, after completing his O-Levels at St. Patrick's High School and A-Levels privately.
